e-ISOTIS implement unique training courses for elderly and disabled people

We identify missing gaps in the employment market sector and we implement training courses that take advantage of the special abilities of disabled and elderly and that envisage to facilitate considerably the employability of our target group. In brief,

- we emphasise on the unique abilities of elderly and disabled people and implement training based on that analysis
- we encourage the development of a comprehensive national approach to the training of elderly and disabled;
- we lobby to ensure that older people and disabled people have access to existing training programmes and all mainstream educational courses throughout the lifecycle;
- we develop specific training programmes and support provision of training at local level;
- we develop training programmes for parents of disabled people and carers of elderly in order to establish efficient bonds and inclusion in society
- we provide training for older people and disabled people to become trainers themselves.

Indicatively, e-ISOTIS has been implementing such projects like Careers without Barriers, MOTRASUP, EURIDICE, PEDA that follow the above context.
