e-ISOTIS boosts employability of disabled and elderly
We inform employers on the gained benefits by employing disabled and elderly and on relevant good practices. Also further to innovative training courses that we run for enhancing the skills of elderly and disabled, we also initiate mentoring programmes for providing proper advice on one hand how employers could employ more efficiently disabled and elderly employeers and on the other hand how these group of potential employees can adapt themselves efficiently to their working environment.
In more detail, we:
- implement innovative training courses that enhance the skills of disabled and elderly and allow them to increase their employabilty;
- raise awareness of the benefits on employing disabled people;
- promote the use of proper ICT and e-working tools that allow disabled to work remotely and eliminate mobility restrictions
- encourage policy makers to support mentoring programmes;
- focus on providing a validation schema on mentoring programmes for ensuring quality of employment services for disabled;
- promote certification and validation of mentoring programmes at a Europeal level;
Currently, e-ISOTIS participates in two projects VOCA II and MENTORING VALIDATION that address the above activities.
