e-ISOTIS audits existing Information Society activities and structures

We check existing Information Society policies, committees and other initiatives to see whether the interests of disabled people and elderly are taken into account. In particular:

- Experts from our Personnel are participating in european working groups and project teams initiated by appropriate policy makers (at local, national and, international level) to ensure adequate representation on all relevant commissions, committees etc.;
- we check to what extent the Information Society is a priority within organisations and associations of people with disabilities and elderly.

For example, expert from our staff has participated at the CEN/ISSS Workshop Agreement initiative on Web Accessibility Certification and has ensured the full involvement of disabled and elderly in the accessibility certification process of the websites in Europe.
