The international organisation e-ISOTIS (Information Society Open To ImpairmentS) is a well established and dynamically evolved organization with the scope to support the People with Disabilities and elderly to overcome the existing barriers and have an independent living and quality of life. In this context, we are looking for people of various backgrounds to join our ambitious team to implement our vision. We offer an international career, involvement with the latest trends in ICT and disability as well as flexible working conditions and competitive remuneration packages. Initial posting in Greece but prospects for continue working in other European countries are possible. The organisation also welcomes applications from outside Greece and we can support the successful candidates on finding appropriate accommodation and adopt themselves fruitfully in Greece/Athens during their whole staying. Assistive Technology Professional (Ref. Code: 2901071)
Responsibilities
- Support the management and the implementation of European Research Projects that address independent living of elderly and people with disabilities via ICT
- Evaluation of existing ICT products and services for elderly and people with disabilities
- Internet research on available ICT products and services for elderly and people with disabilities
- Support the development of ICT products for elderly and disabled people

Qualifications
- Postgraduate studies in Assistive Technology, or rehabilitation engineering or disability studies or working/research experience in ICT for disabled people
- Graduate in computer science/information systems
- Strong interest in follow-up of trends in web development and ICT for disabled people
- Fluent in English
- Good presentation and writing skills

Assistive Technology Trainee (Ref. Code: 2901072)
Responsibilities
- Support the management and the implementation of European Research Projects that address independent living of elderly and people with disabilities via ICT
- Evaluation of existing ICT products and services for elderly and people with disabilities
- Internet research on available ICT products and services for elderly and people with disabilities
- Support the development of ICT products for elderly and disabled people

Qualifications

- Graduate in computer science/information systems
- Strong interest in follow-up of trends in web development and ICT for disabled people

Nota Bene: Apprenticeship period is flexible and can vary after agreement between the successful candidates and the organisation. Please state also the period that you could be available for the apprenticeship.

WEB Developer (Ref. Code: 2901073)
Responsibilities
- Design, development, deployment and maintenance of Internet/portal applications,
- Evaluation of existing ICT products and services for disabled people
- Internet research on available ICT products and services for disabled people

Qualifications
- Graduate/postgraduate in computer science or information systems
- Knowledge on usability and accessibility of websites
- Familiar with Apache web server and MySQL database
- Experience with Java, PHP, XML/XSL and CSS
- Fluent in English

Communications and Fund-Raising Manager (Ref. Code: 2901074)
Responsibilities
- Managing Media and advising stakeholders, policy makers alike
- planning and running websites,
- organising publications and events and executing campaigns,
- managing the charities, donations and sponsorship marketing and communication activities as well as being responsible for increasing revenue through events, businesses, trusts, foundation, governemnt and individuals.

Qualifications
- Managerial experience in fundraising and communications is essential
- Confident in networking and lobbying
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Fluent in English and PC literate

Human Resource Manager (Ref. Code: 2901075)
Responsibilities
- Run careers programmes dedicated to enable disabled people find their optimum job.
- Build a network of corporate and other employer contacts as well as of disabled people looking for a job
- Support the work placement of disabled people at the private and/or public sector
- Conduct market research and surveys related to employment and education/training of disabled people
- Support the implementation of national and European initiatives that our organisation undertakes

Qualifications
- Graduate/postgraduate in HR, disability studies, special education or as social worker
- Familiar with disability issues
- Fluent in English and PC literate
