Some data
In the past years, FENACERCI has promoted the organisation of self-advocacy groups within our associated members, disseminating the concept of self-advocacy and trying to create the embryo of a national committee of self-advocates.
FENACERCI has had regular cooperation with sister organisations at national and international level, namely in the development of research projects, implementation of in-service training and organisation of thematic conferences, specially in new fields of intervention, regarding the quality of services and a better standard of support for intellectual and multiple disabled people, and strategies to support their empowerment and self advocacy work.
