2005 - CWB Careers without Barriers
Scope: CWB aims at creating a new profession of a usability & accessibility tester, specifically targeting people with disabilities. The project will involve disabled people closely with accessibility experts in making (small and medium) enterprises and public buildings accessible for people with disabilities that are working there, and that want to participate fully in the professional working environment.
Target group:
Target group comprises persons who want to get further qualification as accessibility experts (e.g. architects, industrial designers, civil servants of public administrations, facility-, quality- and human resources managers, etc.), and people with learning, physical, psychological, visual or hearing disabilities who want to get a qualification as usability and accessibility testers.
Project objectives:
The objectives of the project are the development of a qualification programme consisting of two curricula:
- A curriculum for qualification of accessibility experts.
- A curriculum for training usability & accessibility testers
