2004 - DEA Digital Literacy open to Impairments
Scope: DEA project aims at the collection and subsequent dissemination of good practices undertaken by European projects concerning the promotion of digital literacy, targeted at people with disabilities. All involved partners will for this reason undertake extensive research in all European countries, and collect such practices.
Target group:
DEA aims at educational institutions, as well as organisations representing or working with people with impairments that have developed specific activities towards promoting ICT literacy for people with special needs.
Project objectives:
The objectives of the project are the following:
- Identification of criteria for the identification and listing of good practices.
- Creation of a repository of good practices, and its population through a dedicated web portal.
- Classification and listing of good practices according to the pre-defined criteria.
- Collection of feedback by selected groups of teachers and trainers on the selected good practices.
- Dissemination of the identified and positively assessed good practices through the project website, combined with the awarding of the best practice during an event that will be organised mid 2006 in Brussels.
